My brother has one on his BMW - it was hard as a rock when he got it but it did break in a bit; but not enough. We wound up taking a road trip to the factory in California where they re-worked it for him right on the spot. Great experience. A lot will depend on how much you weigh - if you're in the 180+ range I think you'll be okay after a few miles but if you're light you may need some help.

With that said -there are a lot of mixed comments on Corbin but going to the factory for that seat was a great experience.

I have a total of apx 60K miles over two bikes on my Corbin 2 up. It is firm but comfortable. Doing 700 + mile days is no problem.

Firm yes, but it does give after time. I have over 4000 miles on it and each one is better than the last.

A corbin is worth the money for me, Its kind of like a firm but soft feeling to me. I would get one if you dont have one yet. I have 25,000 + miles on my dual touring and its still like new. Dont forget your corbin saddle cream, it keeps the leather conditioned and clean, and you need a rain cover. Happy Endeavors.

Buddy of mine has an old Corbin. He likes it but he is a smaller fellow 5'6" 150 lbs(??). I have riden it on occasion and my 6'1" 300lbs body hates it with a passion.

I have a few thousands miles on the classic solo now and very happy with it, I would suggest the rider backrest with it. Although I also have the passenger pillion I have not had it on yet for and passenger feedback.

I had one on my Gold Wing last year during a trip of 8000+ miles in 26 days with no problems it was fine. I was expecting a much firmer seat but that wasn't the case.
