Default Need help with bars

I installed some 12in bars on my 2010 electra glide classic and now the throttle by wire is not working also has check engine light on and cruise control light stays on with switch off. Did I throw a code that needs cleared or did the tbw come unpluged

Yea. Sounds likely. If the plugs aren't clipped securely I could see how they might come apart when pulling the wires. The small plug latch mechanism could have broken on disassembly maybe??

You definitely want to cut off green plug and solder shrink wrap wire. That or get a SE tbw assy. See my post has color code match if you cut and solder.

Good advice. I had no problem with that connector but I hear that is the exception and usually it gets damaged. If I were to replace the bars again I'd spring for the one piece SE or cut and solder as you indicated.
