Hi guys,
I just traded my 09 Softail Custom for a 2013 Road Glide Custom. I went from LOUD to stock. I would like to add pipes and an air cleaner and tune first off. I would not like to go with the Harley tuner because I would like to do more by myself. I was looking at a Dynojet PV from fuel moto. I love the bike and cant wait to wake it up. I also want to change the bars to something that brings them closer to me. The stock make me reach too much.
Its a big change from the Softail i know but I know i will get used to the difference.
Anyway thanks for advise in advance and looking forward being a member of the big boys club.
Welcome to the high life! I cant school you on upgrades as my bike is an older model with a different fuel system. I can tell you that this board is invaluable. AGAIN WELCOME!
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new bike.
Fuelmoto makes great stuff. Buddy of mine went with their 2-1-2 header, Jackpot Pro slipons, their AC and a PV.
I had never hear the Jackpots in person until he got his, but I have to say I was very impressed, they sound *killer*, a nice deep rumble at idle and a real good bark when you get on it.
12.5" Wild1 Chubby's on mine, they are very comfortable, but I shoulda stayed with the 14's I had on my RK.
If you don't want to be bound to the dealer for tunes and dynos, go with the Powervision. It's very simple and very user friendly with a touch screen interface that does not require the use of a laptop.
