Glad you 2 made it ok!! Watching that video made my pucker even tighter than it is!! That sucks. I'm curious if your insurance is going to make this easy on you or not. I sure hope so!
just glad you and the wife are ok and here to tell the story !!
as long as you guys are ok , screw the bike it can be fixed or replaced , you guys cant !
the video was crazy, that sign pole is what did most the damage !
save it for insurance if they ask what happen ??
Glad you are alright. Looks like that engine guard took a good bit of the force - is the mounting tab on the frame bent? If so, the frame would need to be replaced
To be honest, I'm not surprised about cagers passing you by during this event. If you had a buddy with you already, my guess is they already thought someone had attended to you. They also probably assumed you and your wife were alright since you weren't laid out on the pavement.
Doesn't make it right, but again, I'm not surprised.
I gotta say I think you were a little fast going into the rotary, you really shouldn't be scrapping on that turn.
But....it really doesn't matter what I think.
Main thing is, you and your wife are OK and are able to tell us about it.
Good luck with the insurance.
Glad you and the wife are ok...Couple things...I wouldn't show this video to the insurance company. For one you didn't yield before entering the roundabout and two you went in way to hot. The posted MPH was 20 it looked like you were going much faster than that.
