Hey guys just bought me a 98 roadglide that has 12k miles on it ,just wondering the bad things on the bike .It runs sweet love the fill .If anybody has owned one let me know something .. thanks
Its an evo motor with 12k miles, on a road glide! I dont know what could be bad about it! I've heard some people dont like the Magnetti Marelli fuel injection, difficult finding parts and tuning for hopped up motors. I wouldnt worry about it if its mostly stock and runs good. I would just do your regular maintenance checks on stuff like fluids, tires, major fasteners, etc. Other than that, just ride it and enjoy!
If you have any more in depth mechanical questions, i'd check out the EVO section. Those guys can tell you anything and everything about the bike.

Thanks brother , i just sold my ultra to buy this one and so far its sweet .But it alot lighter . Thats what i was wondering about the feul injection , just havent had the weather to take it on a good ride . thanks again ..
Would not worry about the efi. If it gives you problems and you can't get parts or service for it, all you need to do is go to the evo forum and search. Lots of folks have swapped it out and ran a carb. Lots of threads with part numbers and tips to convert it "if" it is ever needed. EVO 5 speed glides are great, hope you get lots of smiles and miles from the bike.

Friend of mine just bought a 98 Anniversary Road Glide. So far he likes his a lot. First year for the Road Glide and last year for the Evo. What's not to like.
