Probably a question you should pose to your registration people in your state. I'd think as long as you have title to show you as the owner would make things easier.

Not a good idea . It all depends on what the insurance company paid you for. If they paid you off for the 2000 and its VIN. The motor and trans are listed as technically stolen also. But even worse is they don't belong to you(you may have them).. they belong to the insurance company. I think i would delete this and just go ask a good MVD guy. Maybe look at the pay off you got. Did it list the numbers of the other motor?
