laydown license plate

i am getting all the pieces together for a detachable tp. did not go with the kit and it has been way cheaper, especially with the help of new castle hd and their always offering 20% off. now back to my question, i am looking for a curved, laydown plate holder to mount above the taillight. which ones would you guys that have mounted recommend. i am also interested to hear from those that have mounted below the taillight and what they did to achieve this. thanks and happy easter.

I did the same thing last year and this is what i used. They make it in chrome and black ( i used black) and installed it just above the tail light. Easy install and looks great.

thanks for the reply, definately one i was looking at except in chrome. i also seen the milwaukee twins one on jp cycles website and am interested to know if anyone has tried that one.

Not real fancy, but I use this to replace the OEM 3-hole license plate bracket.

Your bike is an 09-up?If so,I think you are gonna need to drill holes in your fender.I mounted mine below the tail light using the Road King Light bar.
