What is the best way to install these inserts on the riders pans,on a 09 Ultra?

Soap & water.

WD 40 would be a good lube too.

white lithium grease or spit!

 

Getting the old ones out is harder than getting the new ones in I think. I gently pried the old ones up with a molding lifter. Than like these guys all said, I think soap and water works the best. They'll just pop right in there.

 

Soapy water (ie: Dawn) and gentle use of needle nose pliers.
