A bath towel soaked with water, draped over the windshield and fairing for 5 minutes, remove the towel and simply wash the bugs off. No chemicals required.

I use a Lucas Oil product called Slick Mist. Spray it on, let it soak a while and wipe it off. It also sets up a barrier for the next cleaning, just spray a little on a soft cloth and wipe it off. Works well on the fairing also. Helps with rain run off and keeps a shine on the fairing. You could have a thousand posters and a thousand different methods.

You don't need to buy any product or chemical.

Soak towel in hot water. Place over area and let it sit for a spell. Bugs come right off. I do this for my fairing/windshield all the time. It's free

Then just use a wet microfiber towel, the bugs wipe right off.
I used the S-100 spray on was cleaner. The more you use it, the easier it gets to keep the thing clean.

Just water softens them up, it's best to do it as soon as you come in from a ride.

This really works great, my new way of cleaning the bugs off. But you must store the solution in a dark bottle or a dark place, light will ruing the solution. Thats why it come in a dark bottle.
