I really wanna upgrade my lights on the 12 Ultra classic. I really don't wanna spend $1000 bucks. What's the best solution out there? I'm looking at the Truck-lite phase 7, the dual-halogen set up and just a upgraded bulb. I'm willing to spend the money for the phase 7 if it's a improvement over stock bulbs. The reason I wanna upgrade is the deer at night. Any help is appreciated. I've searched the forums and read thread after thread with no clear cut answer.
I replaced all the lights on my Road King with LED's. THe last were the headlights and driving lights.
-For all turn signals and fender tip light I purchased LED's and new lenses through Custom Dynamics. For those lights you'll need a load balancer and I also chose to add a 3-1 which turns my rear turn signals into running light as well as blinkers.
-For the brake light I replaced it with a BAL-1.
-Headlight/Driving lights are all Phase-7 purchased through Phats Performance (they are having a few % off sales this month too)
I certainly get asked questions about it as it's noticeable. You'll be happy if you do any of those modifications. I promise.
