I bought a PV and a tall boy mount from Iron Aces to mount to my 2011 fltrx. My question is what are others using for a detachable mount that attached to the Iron Aces mount to easily remove the PV from the bike without having to unscrew the PV every time I leave the bike?
Thanks!
i had it on a removable mount on my handle bar till i hit a hard bump and watched it fall off and slide into the sewer. So i went and got a kuryaken fuel door mount and its screwed into that with a locking pushbutton lock
Mine came with a visor with a detachable mount. I just push the tab and take it off. I've been over some pretty big bumps and never had problem. I do have Ohlins 3-3 shocks.
Yep and it works great . If you want to just pull it off use the sun visor mount from Dyno jet 19 dollars with your Iron Ace.
To keep from blocking the radio at all with this use the small black spacers to move it out a bit and mount using top two screws only works great.
This goes on your Iron Ace You power vision just snaps in to it. Those slot you see on your Power vision line right up with the two clips. Any question just yell.
Then you end up with this
No blocking of the radio view at all

That looks real clean. I've had my PV mounted to a POS plastic handlebar mount and used my Iron Aces mount for my phone. I think I'll go the other way around.
