It's not that your not supposed to like the stock seat at all. It just didn't provide the kind of support I required to put a lot of miles on it in a day, and enjoy it. After you ride it while on a few 5-600 mile days, I suspect you'll know what I'm talking about. Great bike though. Your bike looks exactly like mine did when I bought it new. So, good choice.
