Default Python exhaust

Called the guys over at fuel moto today and was asking about some slip-ons. I want to do slip-ons now just for sound then add a a/c true duels and tuner in the future. He suggested python which I guess is a value Vance and Hines pipe. I only have about $450 to spend. Looking for thoughts and/or experience with python pipes or suggestions. Oh it's going on a 2013 road glide custom.
Thanks guys

I put them on my 12 SG. I love them. Sounds good and not too loud. Best bet is to find someone who has them near you and hear them for yourself.

Ran Pythons on my shovelhead for years, very happy with them, lots of compliments on the sound.

See I am looking for obnoxious when I want it but I can still idle out of the neighborhood in the morning.

I had Pythons on my Limited with dresser dual head pipes. Sounded good. Little obnoxious when you wanted but the problem I had with them was when I would set the cruise, say 70ish, and start going up a hill they would start to crackle loudly. Was ok for a year but the second year I couldn't take it anymore. Don't know if it was the dual head pipes or just how the mufflers were. Sold them and put on a set of V&H dual tip rounds. Sounds great and have a deeper tone. Takes a lot more to get them to start crackling.

Pythons came on my Roadglide when I got it. I thought they sounded great. Found they were at 96 decibles, highest we can go on Maine inspection. Sold them to a buddy and he loves the sound.

I am very happy with my Python Predators. Chrome still looks new. Sound is better than most IMO. Nice idle rumble with a good blast when I lay into it.
