pop starting
anyone ever damage their 5 or 6 speed tranny pop starting the bike? i've heard you can break the counter shaft doing it. any truth to this?

If you can break it doing that you better not ride it you"ll be in the shop all the time for repairs.

You get more drivetrain shock from hard launches than bump starting.

Downshifting and engine braking puts a lot more load on it.
