Default Tour Pak Question

I've decided to get a detachable tour pak for my street glide and understand that there are two different types of detachable racks for either solo or two up. I'll get both racks as I will use the pak in both situations.

I'm still using the stock seat and my question is, does the solo rack sit high enough to go over the passenger portion of the stock seat or do I have to get a solo seat to run the pak in the solo position?

Thanks for the help!

Check the rack at the dealer, it might fit over the rear section of your seat and you wont need to spend more money on a new seat. I was at the dealer a few months ago, a lady with a Street Glide bought a new seat for comfort and the dealer squeezed it over the rear section and said she "couldn't return it now."
