BTW, I currently have the Dunlop 402's. I don't think they make the E3 to fit my bike. I did also look at the Michelin Commanders and almost went with those.
Pretty sure the Bias EIII MU90B16 fits your bike.

Metzlers should be in by Friday, I will get them installed on Saturday. Hoping I made the right choice!

e3 should fit and is a better tire than your 402. I'm now on me880,good tire but i have to give a slight edge to the e3,think they griped better.and they definitely lasted longer.

Never heard of a Metzler 888 but I have heard of a Metzeler 888. I'm getting the tried and true 880 in a month to get rid of my worn 402's. excited should be like a new bike.

I've always run Dunlops, and the only time they've slipped in corners is when I've pushed it too aggressively for the conditions. Less expensive and last alot longer.

Default Dunlops

When I bought my 08, it didn't take long to wish I had got Antilock brakes. The Brembo's grabbed so hard I had a couple of instances where the rear end was coming around to be the front end.

Scared the crap out of me. Then after I wore out the Dunnie, I went to an E3. I never thought of ABS again. The E3's do make more noise in the corners, but the grip the road way better than a Dunlop.

Never tried a Metezeler, but my money would be on an E3 for a pre 09.

Dunlop does make a great tire for a post 09 though... it's call an SP5000.

Just for the record, an E3 is a Dunlop.

My 2 cents...

I've heard mostly good about the e3

402's suck. No way to make them a good option.
