Amazon has several that are just as good quality as the HD. I use the one from Alphamoto and it works great at half the price of a Harley pump.

I couldn't get the 'proper' Harley pump when I bought my first 'air' Harley. Been using a small bicycle pump ever since with no problems, along with a separate pressure gauge, for over 20 years now. Works fine and until recently I had air both ends. Don't make mountains out of molehills.....

I tried my mountian bike shock pump as well.
The guage doesn't read low enough to use.
Most mountain bike air shock use around 150 psi.
You Harley only uses up to 50 psi.

I have one of these... It's not nearly as versatile as the HD (or similar) zero loss pumps. The problem with it is you have to pressurize the inlet to a pressure higher than the item you're checking to open the valve within the connector. Therefore you can never check the pressure in the tire or shock or whatever you are checking without first pumping it up higher than the current pressure level. Now on a tire with a larger volume of air that's not too big of a deal, but on the shocks it's actually quite useless.
