Boze,
I will have to second http://www.customflhtwindshields.net/. I have 2 windshields from Robin and Pat and they are great. They ship very quick and very nice folks. I put the 6" smoked on my Ultra and I also ordered the 10" smoked for the colder weather, even in Texas. I will buy from them again. If you are unsure dont hesitate to ask them. Thier windshields are also about 2" wider on each side for a great look.

I also bought from Pat and Robin - the Moonwing style did not look right on my early style fairing. It was returned and exchanged with no problem. I run a4.5" black chopped shield, it looks great and the quality is good.

PSO169 and Jeepster09,

what do these widder shields look like from the driver's side. I searched through their ( http://www.customflhtwindshields.net/) and couldn't find a single pic showing where how the extra inches of windshield are attached or form around the inner faring and such. anybody got a pic?

If you want to save a ton of money have a local plastics shop cut the existing windshield down. It is simple to do and they will probably charge less then $50. And no, nobody will be able to tell it was cut down. I've done it and was pleased with the results.

Oley55,
I could not get a photo from the side, but the windshield is all one piece. I like the way it looks on my bike. Drop Pat & Robin an email they may be able to provide the picture you need.

Just cut it yourself. There are detailed directions in the DIY section of this forum, and it is simple with a minimum of tools.

Regards,

Bill
