Well the Verdict is in Finally bit the bullet and changed out the exhaust the old set up was rineharts true dual with the tourque/preformance baffle yeah it sounded good but it just didnt give me that WOW Factor so after reading alot and listing to alot of diffrent bikes i decided to go with the D&D 2-1 fat cat and boy what a diffrence imo the bike now finally sounds like a harley has a nice deep rumble at idle and a nice aggressive bark at WOT havent put the bike on a dyno but the seat of my pants dyno seems like the bike has more giddy up out of the hole and up thru the mid range. the only thing that will take getting use to is the look of not having 2 pipes out the back but thats something that i can live with
I totally get what you're saying. I too struggled with the looks of a 2-1, but the performance was well worth it. A riding buddy told me if I ever put one on my bike I'd never go back to duals. He was right.

A couple questions. How is the heat on the right side with 2-1? What baffles did you choose? I too have true duals, one reason was the heat and love the dual sound. I could live with the one sided pipe, I actually like the look.

i choose the loud baffle Me personally i like the loud harley rumble and want people to hear me the heat as of now i havent had any issue with it granted the weather has not been hot either so i cant really comment to much on that subject the dual sound is def diffrent but imo the 2-1 sound is better. one of my club brother rode my bike so i could hear it from a diffrent perspective other then the saddle and it really sounded good when ever we get a hot day i will let u know about the heat
