I have the hd one in my fairing. It works as good as I would expect. 30 bucks on ebay.

I'll let you know this weekend when I install my HD boom hidden antenna in the fairing. Specs show it performs better than stock & shorty...

go to e-bay vendor is streetglidecota his is $18.95. I put this in my 09Ultra. On AM I picked up a station 85 miles away while my bike was in my garage with the door closed. I didn't believe it but I thought WTF for $18.95, I'll take a chance. works great in my opinion

On my SG I unbolted the antennae bracket and strapped it to the saddle bag support. I then ran the stock antennae up the support and along the frame with the wires.

Seems to work as good as before and only cost a few wire ties and a plug for the hole.

I don't use the cb. Removed the cb module and it is for sale. Replaced with i-pod interface

I had the Harley antenna inside the fairing and it didn't work very well. I removed it and installed a shorty antennae the same way. Zip tie it to the saddlebag bracket. It works great.
