I did the stage 1 just to get rid of the cat and all of its heat. As a bonus I got a stronger, better sounding bike.

Stage one on my Ultra Limited. Getting rid of the catalyst made a huge difference. Added slip on mufflers with an S&S stealth air cleaner and a micro tuner from Fuel Moto. The bike runs great now.

I wasnt happy with the stock performance so I went with V&H Power Dual, Monster Rounds, DRAK air intake and then a DynoJet Power Commander with Autotune to get it all tuned right. Was the absolute best decision I ever made. I plan to do CAMS next.

I did a stage one because of heat and detonation. Power wise the bike was fine but the stage one gives it more oomph. As for mileage, it went down about 5-6 mpg so I wasn't too happy about that but the tradeoff for cooler running is worth it. I suppose if I took it to a dyno tuner they could get more mpg out of it but I can't afford a dynotune right now...
