Default longer clutch cable for FLHX

I am planning on installing the Klock Werks ergo back bars on my 12 flhx. Does anyone have a part number for a 2" longer clutch cable for this application? I'm open to suggestions on bars also. I want something about 2" taller and want to pull them a little further back toward me but the most important factor is the wrist angle. I have carpal tunnel and the stock bar wrist angle is killing me , i need something more straight. The klock werks seem like a better angle.
I had the chrome works sweepers on my other SG and the wrist angle was great but i didn't really care for the sweeper design.

Thanks for the input!

If you only need 2 inch longer, go back to the dealer & ask for the clutch cable for the Crossbones. Its 2 1/2 in. longer than the FLH cable & the ends and adjustment section are identicle. Costs about $37.00. I dont have the part # on hand, sorry.

I think with a 2+2 you can use the stock cable.

Thanks folks! With the sweepers i had i used the stock cable but i had to route it underneath the fairing instead of through the hole in the fairing. Didn't like how it looked. I bought the sweepers before because they were really affordable, about a bill. Hopefully the klock werks are worth the higher price.

so 38649-08A is the stock crossbones cable? I just installed the wild1s 578s and I don't like the way my stock 2013sg cable is routed.

i took the recommendation of the local shop owner ( as well as reading it here), if you think you want a certain size bar (ie.. 10" bars) go one size bigger. especially if you want to roll them back towards you. you can get some 12" yaffe apes and roll them back to you and still be even with the fairing (speak from the experience on that one).

as for the clutch cable and break lines, 2" isn't much, either go with the cross bones cable or order you a set of new cables and brake lines. i went with Magnum brand cables. great set up, and glad i went with 12's instead of 10's. i rolled them back more than most do due to shoulder issue, so the extra height made it better.

+1 on the harley 2" extended cable...... Good parts, and it's better to have it on hand and return it later if you can use your stock cable, than to be stuck up poo creek and not have it after you're already installing your bars....... Trust me on this, I repeat stupid mistakes all the time!
