Floating Rotors?????
I'm thinking about getting some awesome wheels from HOGPRO. The rotors aren't floating. Polished SS!!!! My 06 SG does squeal with stock setup....if I just replace the rotors w/ these non floating rotors, will the squeal still be there????

There is also a service bulletin out there it says to swap the right and the left. I had it done at the 1k (practically had to beg!). Typical service expectation unless your spending a crap load they don't want to do anything... I think it was a stock wheel/rotor engineering thing wont be a problem on the HP's

I also had a constant noise in front brakes. Tried switching left to right rotors and noise went to other side. Went with floating rotors and noise went away. Must have been a defective rotor but HD did not warranty it. THey said that brake components are not warranteed

Got my custom wheels and rotors installed and.................. no squealing.
Worry not Rodman. I think you'll be ok.
