Default HDPD Plus Ipod Interface

Installed the unit a while back and it is great. I purchased a used one and when it starts up it says Version 1.1. Does anyone know if there has been any firmware updates, and if so how do you get them?

Mine shows Version 1.3.8 when I turn it on. I figure you either need to contact Iron Cross or On The Move Technologies. I remember reading somewhere here in the forums that a member was "bata testing" firmwares for OTMT at one time.

I had read somewhere that an update or newer version had resolved the issue of poor radio reception once the ipod is plugged in. I lose most of my radio reception once I plug it in. Also sometimes the radio screen randomly goes into the off position while it continues to play music. Lastly the only way I can get it to play random is to is to go to playlists and play all. If I try use the random mode it just plays songs in sequence. Maybe software issue or operator error.

I have the original HDPD Plus also I had to update my software on my HK as per instructions for unit.I haven't had any of the problems you describe,I have and older 80 gb ipod that I use and have the controls set to random and work flawlessly.Sounds like something might be wrong with your Hdpd plus.

In2it does your say Version 1.1? If so maybe I just need to mess around with it a bit more. My HD unit version is current so that is not the issue. Do you find your radio reception got worse?

Version 1.3.5.My radio reception is good,but I don't listen to it much since getting the HDPD and I also have the Xm module.

BUYER BEWARE ! If you have trouble, On the move technologys will not respond back to you. Your on your own. I have tried and tried and they replied back once promising to make things right and have never heard back again. Will not endorse this company......
I promised them in my latest attempt that I would contact every forum I could find if they didn't at least reply back. So here I am...

This last time I had problems with mine I went through Eastern Performance because they were the retailer I bought through. I was given the phone number to Mark at On The Move. I took a bit, but he sent me a new unit.

Please let us know if there are any issues that are unsolved with the On the Move units. We have been working with him to get these corrected.
