LRS... Wow!!
Hmmm...I'm 5'9 and went with the 9" dark on my Ultra. At first I kind of thought it was a bit high, but I got used to it. It still allows me to see over it. I bet an 8 might have been perfect.
Might have to order up another just too see. Perhaps even a 7?
Cheers

Windshield was the first mod I did to my EG when I bought it last year. Went with the 9" Ultra in medium tint.....very happy since the stock shield was right at eye level, and I either had to crouch to look under or stretch to look over the edge. James was a big help when I called.
I found out that you need to make sure you're happy with your seat before settling on a new shield since the ride height can change with new seats.

I chose to go with the 8" dark tint. I'm 6'3" and the shield is low enough to have an excellent field of view but still high enough to get the wind up and over me and my wife. Absolutely love this shield and would highly recommend it to anyone.
I'm about 5'-10". I have the 6" recurve and it does a good job of flipping the air over my head and I can easily see over it.
I was a tester for the X-stream and like the light tint vs. the medium or dark tint. I also have the Ultra and Steath and look over the shields but in slow speed traffic you will look thru the windshield at times. I know the darker tints look cooler.
I ordered the 8" an had a hard time seeing with it at nite im swapping it out for the 7" and im 5'9" also with sg, mustang seat, stock bars good luck bud
That is what I was afraid of with the 8" and why I went with the 7". Glad I did.
I'm 5'9" and I bought the ultra 8". It works well for me. The stock HD 4" just beat my head so bad I could not see! I got lucky and found the right size on my first attemp. I don't know if it is the hight of the shield, or the recurve, or both. It works well for me. LRS is A+ for me.
