I'm 5'11 and have the 8" medium tint. Work great for me.

LRS ROCKS! I am 5'9" with mustang seat and 7" dark recurve. Perfect unless it rains - then it is goggle time.

Think I'm going to try a shorter shield. I just realized(duh...) I'm actually 5'8 after converting 176cm. So, I'm thinking a 7" is the way for me and not my current 9".
I've the Ultra dark now, so I think I'll try a flat top this time around.

Cheers

Copy Paste from the other thread a few weeks ago:

I picked up a used 9" LRS Ultra (recurve) from kdod here on the forum. I am 6'-2" and "ride proud" in traffic/city for visibility both ways. The 9" took care of most of my terrible buffeting problems and it's short enough that it looks great. I just looked at their website for the Ultra-Elite mentioned above, it's a polycarb shield and right now it's 40% off. Shoot, that's a better deal than I got on my used Ultra!

I recently installed a Road Glide seat that is a bit lower, even than the Badlander, and am thinking about picking up an 8". With my wife on the back, or when I finally get some Progressive shocks, it is just a bit too tall and I am having to look through instead of over it.

I have the 7" on my 08 FLHX. I'm 6' tall and it didn't reduce the buffeting much. I'm thinking of going up to an 8". The quality is the best and the service is great!
