Yeah, I run one. Does just fine. Ive got the dark tint 8 and it is about right for me. Wouldnt mind grabbing up a 10 for longer trips just for a little more protection. The 8 still allows a bit of air to hit the very top of my helmet at 75-80 down the slab.
I just put one on my 15' Ultra Limited. Have the 9" shield (I'm 5' 9-1/2"). It does the job. Adjusts easily to different heights and angles. I've only taken it for a couple of spins since Not very attractive, but will really be helpful for long distance rides.
Just put one on my 2018 CVO Limited. The sizes run very large, By which I mean you need to buy a smaller one than you think. I am very tall from the waist up. My prior shield was a Clear View and it was the tallest one they made. The height was perfect I could look over it and see the road starting 40 or 50 feet away. I am now running the mid sized Madstad at the lowest setting to achieve the same result. I don't think it looks to bad at all (although I have always been a function over form kind of guy.) The tints tend run light so if you want the grey, you want the medium.
Wow. Finally the batwing guys are finally seeing the light and going with a Madstad!! I have one now for two years and love it on my RGC. Traditional sizing is not the way to pick one. Yes, a smaller one might be what you need to get. The sites recommended sizing charts, to me, were spot on. I love the adjustability of it. Hot day, it goes down. Cold or raining, goes up!

I have the really dark tint. At first, I was freaked out about it when I was coming into work. I leave real early and the sun is just coming up. It took a couple rides to get used to it. I am more of a look over than thru guy, so the darker does not really bother me. It is nice at night time, that if somebody has too bright of lights, I can tuck behind it and then I don't get blinded. Picture is with it up all the way. It is the 13" size. I also have an 11" high.

Unfortunately while the Madstad is better than the Clearview it is not even close to as good the large Madstad on RGU was. I will never own another Batwing bike again unless I buy a trike. Wish we would have bought a 2018 RGU and we then spent $10,000 to make it the way we wanted. This bike is pretty and the 117 is nice, but that is all it has going for it....sigh
I am right in the middle of their recommended height at 5’ 11 1/2”. Wonder it I should round up or down. Leaning towards rounding up for more protection. Just don’t want the edge in my line of sight.RIDER HEIGHTSHIELD SIZE
