...well follow up to date...Dead, completely dead. It did the same, crank but no start. Then followed up with more of the same. then clickclickclick. Battery checks out at 12.6 volts while off. Put it on a charger at 2amps, but it cuts off and shows 'full'. It did push start, and ran. (didn't have voltmeter that time, and I couldn't keep it running, was at work). I tentatively checked all connections. At a glance, they all look tight, no obvious corrosion. All fuses are good. switched the relays in fuse box (ignition/break), still no start.
-I'm curious if it's a related issue, or if one caused the other, or just their own seperate headaches all together.
I would pull the battery and have it load tested at autozone or something. Even though the battery has voltage, it may not have the amps to start it. After you have a fresh battery, another place you could look at are the grounds, take em off and clean them, even though they look good at a glance, they may be corroded where u cant see. Hope you get it fixed man.
