You can see in the red circles where the cables are to attach the usb for power and the aux to send the phone output into the radio. The phone cradle fits right on by the controls on the handlebar and held on with 2 zip ties which surprisingly lock the 2 part cradle brace down really tight. you can then take the brace off and leave the small docking pad or just un-dock the phone.
I like the little stubby antenna, its really short and flexible so I curved it for fun to see if it would. The signal picks up great as its a thick marine antenna so no loss in reception and a lot cheaper/shorter than the HD short.
I am sure these are old news mod's just sharing as I go along for other new touring bike owners.
