Default HK head unit

I assume the Harmon Kardon deck that comes in our bikes has "pre out"'s in the deck itself or in one of the connectors?
I just orderd an amp on line this morning and want to make sure, and don't want to pull the fairing apart to find out.
The illustrations in the service manual suck, for they show nothing related to it sofigured I would ask.

Thanks,
Bob

Only speaker level outputs on HK as shown in wiring diagrams in SM.

There are no "pre out's" on the stock radio. I had Iron Cross Audio install them on mine to use with my amp. The stock radio only has speaker outs....

No ****,
thank you gents.
That is what I get for assuming.
The amp I ordered has low level inputs only.

Your better off dumping the HK and going aftermarket. Good luck

I may just pop an attenuator in each side, and run the ouputs stepped down into the line level.
I am not overly serious about jams on the bike, but the volume does suffer at highway speeds, and thus the impulse to order one this morning.
Thanks again

Ya can use a line out converter, like PAC SNI-35.
