Default Removing the TP antenna mount??

I am going to remove the FM antenna from my leather tour pack on my 07 SE Ultra. So now I'm looking for some ideas on covering the spot where the existing antenna mount went. At a minimum, I need to fill the holes.

Looks are very important to me in doing this. Was wondering what others have done to cover the spot.

Thanks for your ideas.

I'm still looking myself. I might have a billet plate made (2x4") painted black to cover it. Right now I have the antenna mounts there but no antenna. Put black rubber caps over the posts.

Try taking a fender washer and a carriage bolt and wrapping a swatch of leather over the washer and bolt. Insert the bolt thru the hole and fasten on the inside with anotherwasher and nut. What you end up with is something that looks like button on a seat cushion.

That's an interesting idea, thanks. I was considering a black bolt of some kind but I like the leather idea. I won't know until I remove it how much of an indentation the mount will have made in the leather.

If I find anything really cool I'll post back. Trial and error I guess.
