My wife ordered me the hammock seat for my birthday. I read mixed reviews about other seats and brands but never a bad one on the hammock. I demo'd it several weeks ago and knew it was the right seat for me. Can't wait to get it on the bike. Guess I'll be selling the road zeppelin air cushions soon.
I tried the RZ,but just felt funny sitting on it. I didn't like how I was positioned at all. Now the Hammock is a whole other story. I love it,and it is hands down the best seat I have ever sat on.
cool....hope it works for you. it can be a long process and expensive. i've had an ultra seat, a mustang seat and am getting a day long. i almost got a hammock but never got a chance to ride/demo one and a lot of reviews talked about the day long. i too have never seen anything bad said about the hammock. keep us informed. if the day long don't work for me, i'll probably spring for a hammock after adjustments.
good luck....you got a keeper there.

Thanks. I read the day long is da bomb of all seats. Don't have the $$ for it though. I'm sure it'll be great for you. I let you know how it works.

I got the hammock. Used for about 200-300 mles and took it off. I have a ride in appointment for russel in July. I will sell you my dual hammock seat if your russel doesn't work

Going to wait until the russel is done before I decide
If you only used it for 300 and took it off what's left to decide?
I love mine! Its great on my back and the most important thing is the wife loves it. I only use it when I put the tour pack on which is longer trips, winter or when the wife rides with me. I miss it when I have to put my stock back on in the summer but chose looks over comfort on shorter trips. Also the heated hammock I bought works great if that the model you received.
The only issue I had with the hammock is that it raised me up a a couple inches, I just put a higher windshield on for really long trips and suck up the extra buffering for shorter trips.
