Hey everyone, rollin a 2009 street glide , too many mods to list. I just purchased khrome works 12" bagger apes. I have been researching the net to see what cable/ harness kit to use...There are several available. Best price seems to be Burly Brand....$189.00 Many others avail but they cost much more. Has anyone used these? Unfamiliar with the brand and would like feedback or other suggestions. Thanks In advance all.....cheers
If you are talking about the 1 1/4" ones, I recently put some on my 11' SG. Went +8" on the clutch cable and brake line. Did the SE throttle controller to get the connectors out of the bars. Moved the wiring inside. No extensions needed on the wiring either way.
Thanks Tired, yes I got the 1 1/4" in black. pre drilled for internal wiring. How do you like them? I really hummed and hawed on my choice. Love the Yaffe monkey bars, but at $400 bucks, could not justify the price difference. WHere did you get your +8" clutch and brake lines from? Any particular brands to stay away from?
