I've always loved the look, but how do you keep from getting your pants caught in it? Ride Safe David
LOL. Well...
I had some (sorta baggy) jeans get caught once or twice, and lost a shoelace.
It's really not that bad...it kinda feels like something bounced-up and hit my leg. My floorboard is spaced about 1/2" (farther out) from stock, and there is ample room.
With the forward pulley cover in place, there isn't too much to worry about.
I would actually consider removing the cover if the front pulley looked better...
Nice. I have the BDL 2" on an 07 RKC. Was glad to hear the sound from your video and know that mine is ok... lol
Shortly after I got my backplate custom done to accommodate the shifter, BDL released their 2" with the built-in pivot...I spoke to BDL after my install and they said you CAN use the 3" pulley/belt combo with the newer (bagger specific) backplate, but you have to order it in pieces...as no kit was being offered.
I think it would have cost me significantly more to go that route though...
But, yeah, the sound is what it is...I kinda dig it. I love rolling down the highway and hearing the 'rattle' echo off the concrete barriers.
Dammit dude, I like that thing WAY too much!!!
Just when I thought I was done, you had to show me this!
Thanks man, I really needed to spend some money..LOL
