I have heard crack kills but I'm not so sure about cats.

Just take the cat pipes off and do a Stage I. I know at least two dealers that will do it around here and said there are no restrictions from HD about it.

FWIW, my "other bike" has a catalytic converter on it and the bike tops out at 142 and gets there, like, right now. Apparently it likes the ***** cat....

Howl,

Wolf.

I would say that the cats would rob a few HP on the theory that a free flowing exhaust adds HP, then a restriction such as cats would do just the opposite.

depending on what state you live in, I'd but the 05 if still available. In California, if the bike has a cat, this means smog check.
