Default Jackpot exhaust - more sound?
Its been awhile since I posted here. Has anyone modified the Jackpot mufflers to increase the sound? Thinking of buying the performance baffles but will they really turn up the volume? I want to hear the pipes while idling and not have to get on the throttle to hear them. Or do I need to go to a different muffler?

I knocked out the restrictor in the left pipe. It got a little bit louder when getting on it. Seat of the pants might have lost a little low end, the sound was worth it to me.

I was thinking of doing the same but waiting on responses/research. Hate to lose low end.

I have the comp. baffles, they sound bitchin, not super loud but loud enough IMO.

Put Dresser Duals on it and it will be LOUD. I just put a set on and am getting ready to pull them back off.

AV...so you upgraded the stock baffles with the comp baffles? Was the sound a significant (subjective) improvement? Worth the $100.....

Not sure if it just me but count on them getting louder with time. I've got 1300 miles on mine now and they are noticeably louder than when first installed. Idle is still quiet but twisting the throttle they let everyone in the area know you are here.

Comp baffles and ceramic coated header here, and I love the sound. Deep and throaty. I started with stock baffles and stock header, and this was a big improvement. Not loud and raspy, so if you're looking for obnoxious loud keep looking.

+1 on louder with age...at least on the JP ProTour 4.5s I have about 15k on them.
