Default Painted inner installed

Picked up my inner fairing this morning. Took 2 1/2 hours start to finish to get it installed and eveything picked up so wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.

Debated on color matched or gloss black but went gloss black. I am sure color matched would of looked great also but this was the look I was wanting. Very happy with the look.

Some quick pics

Very sharp. Its amazing how a painted inner really completes the bike. And its one of the few mods that you as a rider see all the time.

I love mine!

Bad ***! Vivid black is a great choice for so many reasons!

Looks good.

HD charges 4 hrs total for re/re on the inner fairing yet it takes everyone else 2 1/2 hours to actually do it.

Could of easily been done in 2 hours. I had old inner off and all gauges switched to new one in less than a hour.

Had 2 small issues that took up at least 30 minutes. Got my ignition out of line and for some reason couldn't get it lined up. Then of all things the cigarette lighter would not come apart. I guess when I did my bars I put it on to tight or got the threads off.

Also had a call from the wife in there so 4 hours is ridiculous for someone that should know what they are doing.

This was my first time although I have done a lot of the steps before.
