Make sure the plug is lined up correctly. I thought the cord could only be installed one way....but it took me a trip to the dealer. The passenger could not transmit, and the left speaker did not work on the head set. Come to find out, I had the cord installed wrong.

I am going to check the cord placement, so far two have reported getting the cord in wrong. Seems like it should only fit one way, but who knows.

I just had this exact same issue. I was ready to just call the dealer, but decided to do a search on this subject. Turns out the passenger volume while in intercom mode was just to low. This is a great forum. Happy...Happy....Happy.
