Most of the time right around the first partof August...some models inlate July. I picked up my 07 Ultra the first week of August. I guess it depends on where you live at.
Been out of the scene for 8 years. When do 08s hit the dealerships?
Thanks,
Frank
The '08 models will start showing up on showroom floors the day they are announced at the annual July dealer show. Based on past history, this will either be Friday (the 13th [:@]) or the 20th. Given the limited scope of the strike (only 2.5 weeks and only impacting touring and softail production), I doubt the '08 release dates will slip.
When can the '08 be ordered so that it will arrive the 1st week in August? If the strike doesn't push it out.
Thanks,
Frank
You can't "order" an '08 before the actual announcement. All dealers will have prior to that time are color charts and model designations. They will have no idea what the actual bike configurations are until the show - although they may actually have some allocated '08 bikes hit their stores a day or two prior to the show. But even then, they can't uncrate thebikes until the day of the announcement.
How did someone in this thread able to score one in the 1st week of August. I have heard the waiting time from an order to delivery is about 60-90 days.
