I hope everybody has beautiful weather this weekend like we are in central Florida, just without the fools on the road.
Yesterday afternoon I was on 415 SB crossing the St Johns/Lake Monroe bridge when out of nowhere there is a red chest cooler in my lane! I was going 65, so from when I saw it to swerve reflex was about 2 seconds. I hit it with my long arm cruise bar and switchblade peg. It felt like somebody hit the bottom of my foot with a sledgehammer!
It happened so fast I never slowed down or saw what happened to the cooler,
Sorry if it hit anybody else! I was a little preoccupied checking my foot and pegs/footboard...
I have to say I'm impressed with the Kury bars and pegs, say what you will about some of their stuff, but if these pegs can punt a cooler at 65, they have a loyal customer with me!
Eyes wide open out there, no telling what you will roll up on!
Some of the loads people put on the shelves clinging to their hitch receivers are a very bad collision just waiting to happen. I don't follow them, and I hope cops issue tickets for such carelessness.
