As far as mods, go to the local bike nights, your dealer's bike shows, local swap meet contests, etc. Bring your camera, and take lots of photos of anything or any mod that even slightly interests you. Look through all the mags, and all the online catalogs. Get yourself a copy of the 2013 HD P & A catalog, the J & P catalog, the Drag catalog, etc.
Don't buy anything within the first few weeks of owning the bike, unless you have researched it thoroughly, and know it is what you want.
Eventually, and probably rather quickly, you will form a "Theme" that you want to follow, and that will lead you to the manufacturers and accessories that will let you follow that basic theme.
Then, open up that wallet, and let her rip!
