Default Cam chain question

Have they changed the design of the cam chain in the TC models over the years, I know they changed the tensioner, but I have a bad chain on my 08 FLXH, but have my stock chain off of my 03 Deuce that I removed when I put gear drivin' cams in it. Wondering if it would work being that chain only had 5k on it.

Yeah it's a completely different system between the 88 and the 96. However run a parts number check and see. But why would you want to use a used cam chain?

It was more of a "I have this in a box, almost new, if it will work, why buy a new one" situation. But, they are different, so its a non issue. Thanks for your helpful input.

The cam chain system changed in 2006 on Dynas and across the board for all big twins in 2007.
