I currently have the Vance and Hines basic slip ons, the original style. One is starting to have some issues so I have started looking at getting something to replace it. I like the original ones, but, have been looking at some other newer VH products. Anyone have any experience with the old basic and its replacement the twin slash? How about the monster rounds compared to the other two? As always, thanks!!
have the twin slash ovals on my Street Glide and like the sound and the look. I added the quiet baffles and muffler packing because I like a little quieter ride these days.
Had monster ovals before that. Liked the sound but didn't care for the look any more. Just too big and I dragged them once or twice coming out of parking lots.
Anyway, see you're on Cape Cod. I'm a yankee transplant from Massachusetts. Used to vacation in Brewster every summer. That was back when route 6 was just that 3 lane death trap from beginning to end! I miss Nauset Beach and Coast Guard beach was just never the same after the Blizzard of 78.
