Default SE compensator

This makes #4 in 44,000 miles. With the right tools, its a pretty ease job. The first 2 were stock done by Harley. The 3rd was the SE comp. done by Harley. All 3 were warranty. The 3rd (the SE comp) was apparently taken apart by the tech, and the 2 large cupped plates, one was reversed. Making a large gap, which beat the hell out the peeks and valley in the comp. It starts and runs great with no vibration now, like its suppose too. to myself

Dang, wonder what's wrong that keeps taking the compensator out?

What goes bad about it? the spring plates or the two ramp pieces?

Always better to do it yourself if you can and have the tools. Maybe this one will last a while.

Sound like 2 known bad (original stock) and one bad install.

One spring plate put in backward. With extra slack it had, it took out the ramp pieces.

Yes it does, and I hope will last as long as the bike.
