I'm doing my audio install and have the PAC SWI-RC Switch for the handlebar controls. My Question is why do I need to cut and ground the wire in this diagram?
I kinda like to know what I'm doing before I do it
Any Help would be great

 

If ya really need to know I think ya ought to call PAC. That is why I went the easy expensive way with biketronics.
