Default Ultra Classic Trike

I am purchasing a 2007 FLHTCU Ultra Classic Electra Glide. I am going to trike the bike using the Lehman conversion. Does anyone have comments/insight/experience about/with trikes or the Lehman conversion? Thanks.

Never had any experience with any of the trikes. I've only read and heard from others if you're going to go trike, the Lehman is the way to go. Out of curiosity, why are you going the trike route?

Wife has a V-Rod with Motor Trike kit..... I love the sound but it takes a lot of work in the turns.... seems very stable.... just work pulling and pushing....

I have talked to several guy/gals on some really nice trikes the past two years - they seem to be more and more - everyone rider I talked to had some sort of medical reason for being on the trike - As us babyboomers move on in age - its a great way to keep riding - our knees, legs and hips just can't hold that 700+ lbs - Harley has even figured this out and has teamed up with Lehman for next year... here is a link for people that could answer all your question (probably all ready found this) http://www.lehmantrikes.com/lehman-pride-chapters.asp

A friend of mine did his last year. It was done here in WA. Good mechanical work and they were really picky that the paint scheme and color match were perfect. There are a couple more pics of it at www.whatcomphotos.com

I am going to a trike cause I was wiped out in 1976 on my FXE by a truck. I've always wanted to keep biking but medical problems kept me from riding. I stumbled on the Lehman conversions by accident and now I am going for it. WLDBILL, where did you get yours triked. I have only found the Lehman guys in Redmond.
