Hi I just bought my bike maybe a month and half ago and I'm not sure if the dealer changed oil so I put in Amsoil and now the engine is making more noises that I haven't heard before.it just kinda made me nervous is all and plan on trying that vr1 Dino oil.has anybody else experienced this with full synthetic? And I do understand it's a Harley and they make noise but this is a noise that I didn't hear prior to changing the oil.thanks a lot
[QUOTE=HTNHARD;11376381]Post a video of it running and how much oil is on your dipstick..?[/
Tomorrow I will be taking it to work again hopefully if it doesn't rain again here in wi. Lol. Then I will try.thanks

Synthetic makes more noise than dino oil, if you're talking about the industrial sewing machine noise......... but the offset is that synthetic runs cooler.
My experience is full synthetic makes for a noisier top end. I have ended up running 1 qt synthetic and three quarts dino. I get the added protection of full syn on hot days and the quietness of dino the rest of the time. I haven't found a good semi-synthetic for motorcycles yet so I do it myself.

oh, your bike will fall apart, but not because of AMSOIL!
My 2009 always spends 30 days a year in the shop for something, it's crazy!
Never had all the problems with any of my other harleys, thinking it's time for a motorhome!
