Question installed
i installed the se hybrid cam tensioner update kit,,couple of questions,.how long do these cam shoes usually last?? it increased the oil pressure to around 52 from 32 while cruising when warm,,and from around 4 to about 12 at idle,, but what is scavaging that it said it increases around 50 %?? is that the return to the filter??

I've heard it stated to check the new tensioners every 50k miles...

Oil pressure sounds like a great improvement. Scavenging, I believe, refers to pulling oil from the bottom of the crank case.
