I have the Jackpot Pro-Touring 4.5" mufflers and love the sound. I am confident that the sound is very similar to the CFRs as they have the same body shape and likely similar baffling.
I had the 4.5" Pro-Touring on my CVO with FM's 2-1-2 head pipe for about 5000 miles and like them alot. I switch them out for the CFR's and I can tell you the sound is totaly differnt, IMHO. Slightly deeper sound if you can believe it since the 4.5's are really deep and maybe twice as loud especialy when running hard. On long trips my riding buddy's won't ride even close to me. It is a very distinct sound for sure, when my bike is in service I can tell when they're done with it when I here it fire up.

My wife doesn't mind the sound just as long as she can hear the music from my saddlebag speaker lids.
My wife won't even get on the CVO without ear protection. Maybe it because it's a 110 and may not be too bad with the 103.

Thanks for that comparison. Had no idea that they would be twice as loud as the Pro-touring model. Still, I would like to try a set just for ***** and grins.

Maybe my idea of loud is different, but I don't think these were as loud as the Rush mufflers I had on my Softail. I'd be interested to know what the actual dB readings are compared to others.

I do know the sound isn't for everyone because it doesn't sound like a typical Harley. Standing behind the bike, you can feel the exhaust thump in your chest.

That is EXACTLY why i am interested in them. Thats why i went with the pro-touring from FM. Love them but would love to try these out. Going down the interstate at 75, the pro-touring muffs sound like a B52 bomber just cruising along. I can just imagine what it would sound like if that was turned up a notch or two.

All the bar bikes try to sound the same to some extent. Im glad there are other deeper louder designs out there!

I have CFR's on my FLHX and I love them.

I also had a CFR on my Night Rod Special for 4 years. LOVED the sound and it was louder on that bike probably due to the shorter exhaust routing.

I was riding with a cop behind me on the VRod once. When we got to a light the cop pulled up beside me and asked me what kind of exhaust I had on. When I told him 'CFR' his response was "It sounds F-ing awesome".

All I must say is these must be 1000x louder with aftermarket head pipes. I have them on my stock head pipes and was quite surprised how quiet they were. Could hear the radio fine. The wind over the 8" KW windshield was louder. If you think these are loud should try one on a vrod at about 75+
