well the headlight was a 9003 so i put a silverstar ultra in there,, but the driving light are a sealed beam, looks like a h3,h4, from the outside but they are sealed beam, thought they were the kind you can razor cut the silicone seal and replace with a h3 bulb but they are not, look to be like a 4" clear fog light, back of it has two sideways flat spade connectors where the two wires slide on to attach,,would like to get some brighter and a whiter ones if anybody knows of what to buy please let me know,,they do not have all the lines in them like a normal seal beam does,, they are clear with what looks like a h3 bulb in the middle i think they say ge he49-1 on the back of them

I used to use Philips Blue vision before going HID in my other vehicles. Have only tried HID on my SG but I remember them being better than OEM.

It's been my experience the brighter bulbs don't last. Go with the Trucklight Phase 7's LED and be done with it.

Read the Amazon PIAA reviews and you'll see that some folk got short bulb life - I was one
of those people; less than a year and 10k miles on my '06 SG. An H4 is an automotive 9003
bulb and you can buy a two pack of Sylvania Ultra Silverstars on ebay for less than one
PIAA. Now, I'm not saying the PIAA isn't bright but the Sylvania's seem every bit as good,
last longer, and less than half the price. Btw - the Sylvania two pack has 9003/H4 marked
on it fwiw.

If you install a bulb that is DOT certified, it is no brighter than stock. Blue coatings don't make bulb brighter either.
